I have a cool story I'd like to share which just happened yesterday. A buddy of mine decided he wanted to buy a Wii, after several matches of Tennis and some Bowling at my house. (Reminds me of that podcast were Arvin and Ben stay up for "days" playing Wii Sports.) He looked for weeks, trying to find one.

My sister in law's brother happens to work at Walmart, however not in the electronics section. The other day, I asked him when the store usually (if at all on schedule) gets their Wii shipments. He told me it varied week to week, just eye balling it from his department. Well... yesterday afternoon he texted me that they had JUST gotten in a Wii shipment. (Unfortunately I was not near my phone when he sent the message. About ten minutes later, I got the text and called Walmart.)

Here is the cool part: I live about 20 minutes (from the highway) to the Walmart and the guy in electronics checked with his manager and said "there is a CHANCE you could get the very last one." Snowy weather not stopping me to help my friend, I drove to the Walmart as fast (and safely) as possible. When I got to the electronics department, I told the guy I had just called and he actually had the Wii hidden behind the counter for me!!
Needless to say, when I stopped by my friend's house last night to surprise him, he was ecstatic!
I was really impressed that the Walmart rep did that, especially since I battled snowy weather (traveling from another town, even).
