It's not a new Pikmin game its only a remake of the old one with Wii controls. I'll still get it I've heard that Pikmin is a good game.

A new Pikmin game is coming, and it’s not the GameCube port.

Speaking to Kombo, Nintendo representatives have clarified a new Pikmin title is being made in addition to the GameCube port.

They are apparently two different games, easing concerns that the fabled “Pikmin 3″ is actually just a new version of the first game.

Shigeru Miyamoto announced he is “making Pikmin” at E3 in July. Nintendo has not revealed specifics regarding the new Pikmin, which did not make an appearance at today’s press conference.

Thanks, for a while there I thought that this would've been the "making pikmin" he was talking about. I'm very interested in seeing how Pikmin will work on the Wii (especially the controller).
