According to Engadget, Nintendo is working on a successor to the Wii. How can you make something so great better? It's like... trying to improve Mac OS X 10.5. How can it get any better?

Most likely keeping the wii controls, but 360 and PS3ing it out (by that I mean, haveing a very large hard-drive, HD graphics, better online, they'll probably make a new wii mote controller (the wii motion plus just included plus some other updates) a new classic controller that goes back to the GameCube type of thing where the wii-mote plugs into it, and probably more stuff that nintendo is thinking of right now). There's a lot of stuff EVERYONE can improve on.

I don't have anything against friend codes I just think that Nintendo could come up with something that would make the online experience better, similar to what Microsoft has done with gamertags.

maybe it will be DVD playable! and have other such features in which the Wii now fans would like to add and improve on... Nintendo may be out there listening. kudos to them.
