    Guitar Hero Metallica?

    June 2, 2008 - In a recent filing to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Activision has let it slip that Aerosmith won't be the only band to get a dedicated Guitar Hero game. Metallica is set to receive it's own entrant into the rapidly expanding franchise sometime in the near future with guitar hero metallica. No further details aside from the title were revealed but given Activision's history of sharing the love, you can expect to find it on numerous gaming platforms.

    According to the document, "In fiscal 2009, we [Activision] plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms."

    any news on the release date of on tour, or is that still tbd?

    What's the deal with the lack of Super Smash 64 on the wii shop channel. No, instead we get stuff like SnowBoard 180!

    i saw in a best buy ad that it (on tour) was to come out on the 22nd of june and aerosmith is a week later

    and i have not heard about guitar hero: metallica but it would be cool

    wow! i love metallica's music, a guitar hero dedicated to them would be awesome!!

    Why separate games for bands? Why not just download your own favorite bands. Come on Wii!!!

    It's nice that they're coming out with more than just the one GH III game for the Wii. I wish they would revamp the first and second GH games for the Wii. Honestly, if they could do it for the third they should be able to do it for the first two as well.

    They should have an application online somewhere were people could vote for which bands they want to make a guitar hero for next! That way it would be fair and the 'best' bands would get recognized. Just a thought.

    That would be cool. That way they get opinions instead of just guessing what people want.

    i think that they should just make all these bands avaliable as dlc, but i guess they make more money at 50 bucks a pop rather than people pickin out their favs
