so the envelope arrived yesterday for me to stick my Guitar Hero III game disc into and send out to the abyss. now that it finally came i can't bring myself to do it. i don't want to be without it for 3-4 weeks! i don't even have a good sound system, but i thought a free upgrade is always good. anyone else having second thoughts?

That's exactly what I was thinking. The sound isn't that big a deal if you don't have a good sound system.

Do you guys know if the update will fix the design-flaw that messes up the sounds when you are playing on any multi player when either of the players whammy.

i beat it on expert after i got it and played it after that, but since then i havent really put it in much- smash bros melee is constantly in (practicing for brawl). i wouldnt mind sending it off for a few weeks for slightly better sound. This is why we need DLC songs, Nintendo *HINT HINT* (no matter how many times you say itll happen, if theres no mario theme on my gh3 list soon, bad things will happen- ima take one of your fingers)

We thought the same thing and never even took the first step.

I bought two copies of the game for Co-Op play, so I wasn't really missing anything while the first disc was sent in. I did notice a bug: when you go into practice mode and start a song, then calibrate the guitar (grr...flat screen tv!), then resume the game, the following happends:

the video stops, the background music from the start of the game begins, and you must press the plus button for the video to resume. However, once the video begins, the music is never updated.
I'm not sure if this bug exists on the original GH3 disc.
Anyone else seen this?

beondmany, you should tell activision about this, mabey they will make a patch available... but i dont know, it does not really sound worth it..

What's the deal with the lack of Super Smash 64 on the wii shop channel. No, instead we get stuff like SnowBoard 180!
