Alright. With the Nintendo one asked, I figured I'd ask what is your favourite video game character, of all time? It can be from any generation, and any system. Also, the reason as to why you like them? Storyline, abilities, etc.

i have the first 2 sly games
arent they great? the 3rd is awesome and only like 20 bucks at gamestop
Well, at a younger age I loved Kirby. Now, I'm not so sure on who my favorite is.
Sly and Rachet are pretty close, but I have to go with Rachet+Clank(if clank counts)then
Sly+Bentley+Murray(Murrays the man!!!)
favorite character of all time....well myself of course, if being a character in the WOW universe counts ;)......there are too many characters out there for me to pick a favorite but the one that i would like to see make a comeback is one ive said before....i think the wii is a great place for lucas arts to reinvent the MonkeY Island games and bring back Guybrush Threepwood.
Caltus
dont know maybe luigi or link
I've always liked Knuckles, but recently I've seen pretty cool stuff for Silver. He might be better to me. Not sure, though. There's just sooo many...
sonic or Darth Vader
o wait....
SLASH
I like Kirby cos he is the best in Smash Bros.
Another favorite is that blob from big brain academy because he pulls stuff out his butt...
Of all time. That's a tough one. As a gamer, I've played so many games. I guess I could simply say someone like Link or Mario, but those aren't my favourite. Any video game character *thinks* (I actually spent about 10 minutes thinking about this one).
I would have to say Megaman. Blue, fierce, cool and has many titles all based on his ability to utilize different weapons and attacks. I've owned all of 4 Megaman games (small in comparison to the games I've played over all) each with a different unique storyline, better, cooler weapons, and a different special unique ability to each game. In Megaman 4 you could obtain another Navi's fighting style. In Megaman Zero you got to fight as a warrior with a sword and each level is ranked. In Megaman 2 you could obtain fighting element styles for your attacks, and a GC Megaman that was a 2D side scroller (which wasn't the best). All had some sort of wierd crazy twist to them and all could be played until you maxed out the hours on the ingame timer looking for new battle chips or trying to beat a difficult side quest.
I loved Megaman games. Period.
Well, I guess I'd say Samus because she can upgrade her suit with cool upgrades and her games involve a bunch puzzles that can , admittedly get you stuck fr a while, but it makes you want to keep playing.
Well that's a tough question for me I have 3. The Elite Beat Agents for there kickin' tunes, awesome dance moves, and there funky fresh hair styles. Then Pikachu from Poke'mon Yellow. That was the game that introduced me to Video Games and that the game is a classic Gameboy Game. There will always be a speacial place in my heart for Pikachu. Lastly, Kirby even though I hate him Super Smash Bros. I love Kirby's Adventure and Kirby 64-The Crystal Shards and I was obsessed with those games. My dad used to say Kirby was the flying pig. Great Charecters. Great Games.

I don't know for sure, but right now I'm gonna have to go with Sly Cooper. Not many people from the site probably know him, but he has to be the coolest character on the PlayStation 2. Starring in 3 games, (2nd and 3rd are the best) hes an anthropomorphic racoon with super theiving abilities. I didn't even know anything about him until i got the PS2 bundle in Xmas of 02 or something like that. It came with the first game, Sly Cooper and the Thevius Racconus. Google wiki search him and you can see a more in depth description,(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sly_Cooper)
He's got the hook cane, ninja reflexes, and total suave to pull all his moves off. If youve got a pS2, pick all of em up if you can, but I think the 2nd is the best. The 1st is a linear game with levels, but the 2nd and 3rd have a Grand Theft Auto like style in the way that theyre open world areas with missions throughout. Think being able to climb poles, traverse rooftops, walk across skylines, etc, in areas like Paris France, a logging camp, and the jungles of India. Fantastic games, better character. sorry for the long post :)
