Hey I have an idea. How about whichever consloe we think is worse gets to be the new bash the *consloe name here* segment of the show?

well I totally think the 360 is worse.

1. Red ring of death
2. wireless router costs $100
3. Huge power supply
4. overheats easily
5. Can damage your cd's
6. less backward compatibility
7. Less exlusive games
8. Rip off nintendo with a costum (cartoony) avatar system (and I thought I saw something about a MOTION SENSING REMOTE for the 360, WTF?!?! but that's probably fake)

And that's my opinion.

Are Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, or MGS 4 bad games?

Also why are M rated games bad? Xbox probably has about the same number, maybe more.

8.Actually the avatars were just in a recent update. The motion thing is a design for the PS3, however. But it is said not to be the same but to use the camera to sense the location of the controller, and its still a prototype anyway.

And finally, ratchet_samus, do you have a PSN account if you even have a PS3. I'd love to play with you some time.

As for now I'm going to stretch my fingers because I think I just wrote a lot.

Hmm, i'm not a big fan of either, but i'd have to side with the Xbox 360. Although it has a huge list of cons as you guys have already stated, i'd rather buy that than a PS3.
And, they probably have the same amount of M games...
But, i do like the Wii best :D

sadly, no, I don't have a ps3, but I'd love to though. But like many other kids/teens. It's to expensive :(, which is probably the one and only reason why I don't have one. Cause I love games that sony/ps3 & 2 have like ratchet & clank, and jak & daxter to name just a couple (yes I know they aren't all on the ps3 yet lol) but yeah, really like ps3, I don't hate but just don't care about xbox, but the wii/nintendo will allways be king with me.

Exactly, seeing how Miyamoto has had the idea for Mii's since the NES.

As for the 360 vs the PS3, I consider them both even. They both have there strong points and weak points.

Did you watch the videos I found? Ps3 beats 360 in like every way. especilly with hardrives. seriously microsoft makes you pay big dough for like everything. And it's EXPENSIVE. Hardrives $100 or more for 120 gb or less when you can get a 500 gb hardrive for $100 and put it in the ps3. $100 for wireless adapter, which should be a basic feature :(. And live's the only network that makes you pay to use it, that sucks.

ps3 beats 360 in those ways and much, much more ways. I have no freaking clue why anybody likes 360 :-(((

1. The 360 doesn't need as much hard drive space as the PS3 because their games are compressed more, thus taking up less room. 60 GB will last a very long time on the 360, and will hold many games, while the PS3 will need more memory to hold the same amount.
2. Nobody should need a wireless adaptor at all for their 360, unless they don't feel like going under their house to hook up an ethernet cord, which is actually faster than wireless, with less lag and faster downloads.
3. Live costs a whole $3.85 per month, is that really a lot? A lot of people complain because you have to pay $50 for 13 months, but $4 a month is not bad for all of the features you get: Voice and video chat, parties, messaging, online play, demos, DLC, and more.
4. Here's another fact, the 360 has better frame rates than the PS3 and more memory (NOT hard drive memory), which is the reason why the PS3 gets crappy DLC from Bethesda, and not the entire DLC packs like the 360. 360- 512MB memory, PS3- 256MB.

Anybody can make a youtube video that makes a console look better than another, but really, the two consoles are pretty even. But I would choose the 360 over the PS3 any day.

As for you ex-SuperSamus...you gotta get a PS3!!! There's only one other person with one on this site. And I guess it is a personal preference. I must admit sometimes I get really jealous about some Xbox 360 features or games, but I really don't want something that has such a high failure rate.

Well I rough about this a will back and I have to say I must take the side of the Xbox 360 and his games.

First lest get fig clear:

1) The Xbox 360 dose not over heat any more. Each times that I put my hand in the Xbox 360 is always cold. But I am not chore that the Xbox still get the Tree red ring of death. Starting at the end of September 2007, the newest systems were shipped with the new "Falcon" motherboard. This motherboard includes the new 65-nm CPUs, making them quieter and cooler than the older systems. People take so much F#$% sh@# of the Xbox 360 braking, guest what? The PS3 dose break and wend it does is even harder to fix that the Xbox 360 three rig of death. All there console break, including the Wii!

2) Yes, the wireless router cost $100 but hit is not essential for playing only. The Wii and the Ps3 has wireless but that is only because dose consol came out a year later than the Xbox. They had the time to put it in.

3) Yes, it has a huge power supply but is a small pries to pay for the Xbox size. The Ps3 is F#@$% huge; the supply is in the boy ps3, making it bigger than any other console. But the Xbox consume less energy that the Ps3.

4) Sense I bought the Xbox 360 I have wonder if it damage my CD, the reality is that it doesn’t harm or damage your CD. That is only the first generation Xbox 360.

5) There is backward compatibility whit any original Xbox game; there is no lees compatibility rachet_samus. At least the Xbox has backward compatibility the PS3 doesn’t.

6) Less exclusive? The Xbox has as many exclusive as the PS3 there is no real different. Exclusives doesn’t mean any fig If you don’t like the games that are exclusive for the console. For example I love metal gear Good of War; I am interested in Infamous and Little Big Platen but for four games I am going to buy a $399.99 consol.

7) More M games, WTF? Is that really important Losman1027, that doesn’t meaner if the games are great. The Wii has proven this whit Zake and Wiky.

8) Xbox live, yes you have to pay $50.00 (Not $60.00 brawler9686) for it but you are getting that best service. The PSN online doesn’t compeer to Xbox live. A prominent feature of the Xbox 360 is its integrated Xbox Live service that allows players to compete online and download content such as arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows, and movies. Major features of the console include its Windows Media Center multimedia capabilities, mandatory support of high definition in all games, movie rentals and game downloads from its online marketplace and the ability to watch HD DVD movies with an add-on drive. The PSN net work is very hard to explore, the live network is faster, icier to explore and use. Xbox has all of the best downloadable games and contends in Xbox live. All of the haves that have online are much better in the Xbox 360 because of the Live service.

9) Blue ray player, ok that is a very good feature, what does it do for the games? Only one fig a liter faster loading times and cut scene. That is the only fig that helps the ps3. There is not a real different of the games Xbox 360. The only game that there is a different but is not much is kill Zone 2 and I cannot be chore because is an exclusive for the PS3.
This not an opinion this are fact. I have used all of the tree consol and play online in them.

well, I really don't care what xbox has cause I would have kick myself in the privates a million times if I got xbox instead of ps3 because I like games that Sony/ps3 has 10 times better than xbox, especially ratchet & clank, jak series, and kingdom hearts (yes I know that there on it yet but they will eventually)

PS3 game are not better that the Xbox game, is only that you like PS3 more that the game in Xbox, that your opinion not a fact.

Yes, kingdom Hearts came for the PS2 but there is a possibility that it can come to Xbox. look at Final Fantasy 13 is coming to the Xbox.

I'm trying to stay out of this thread, but I wanted to point some stuff out.

#8 Yes, the xbox has the best online, but PSN also has online, "arcade games," game demos, trailers, tv shows, movies, Windows Media Center streaming, movie rentals, game downloads, and built in bluray.

#9 bluray actually does improve games. Bluray disks have 50GB of space on them, so there are no restrictions to the amount of content. They also have some protective coating so they don't get scratched, or hurt in any way. And possibly in the future, Sony might package game&movie combos, like a game and a movie on one bluray disk.

Yeah, blu-ray is awesome so you can make a short game with awesome graphics, or a long game with great graphics. And you really should have to pay for live, it's just pointless to when PSN has all the same stuff.

Ok look in my opinion the PS3 is way better. Ps3 there is no Red ring, free WI-FI, and does not have overheating problems. Also the wireless router is 100 dollars thats a rip off. UNDERSTAND that. Also for a hundred dollars more you can get a PS3 and not have to worry about buying 12 months of xbox live or the wireless router or the future problem if you get the Red ring. Thats what I like about the wii you buy it and plug it in and play simple as that.

Everyone has their own opinion on which console they like better, but they only like a certain console because it meets their needs better than the others. If someone likes the PS3, it's probably because of the graphics, exclusives, and load times. If someone likes the 360, it's probably because of the online play and selection of games. If they like the Wii, it may be because of unique controls and a good way to play with friends and family. If a console doesn't meet their needs or wants, they will switch to something else, so it doesn't really matter what console really is the best, it's all about meeting the wants and needs of the users. Everyone has their opinion, and a reason why they chose to like a certain console over the others, and there's not really a way anybody is going to change their opinion. I'm completely okay with people liking one console over another, because that's what they want. I was just trying to say that they both have strong and weak points, which is why there is some controversy over which one is better. But i'm sure nobody is going to buy a PS3 just becasue of processing power, lol, it's because they like the overall features better, and it's the same way with any other console.

After reading all of this again, i'm kind of changing my opinon.
I think all of the companies have free internet, especially with all the money Microsoft has made.
If i were to buy an Xbox, i would probably not be allowed to play on the internet. Not because my parents don't want me to be on it, but because it costs money.
If the PS3 had some good online games i was interested in, i would maybe want to get one.

If 360 had cheaper online service and cheaper cable I think I would for sure favor the 360 but since it doesn't i can say its the best console between the 360 and PS3
