    will rock band ever be able to get a full setlist that is all there own songs not any guitar hero songs.

    list of songs and bands the same in rock band 2 as guitar hero

    american women- the guess who
    any way you want it-journey (guitar hero 3 downloadable content)
    everlong-the foo fighters
    eye of the tiger-survivor
    go your own way-fleet wood mac
    lazy eye-silversun pickups
    one way or another-blondie
    ramblin man-the allman brothers band
    the middle - jimmy eat world
    today - smashing pumpkins

    thats 10/84 songs are the same in rock band 2 as guitar hero

    thats 9 songs are the same as guitar hero

    its not a big deal but when you can already play that song on a guitar hero then you don't need to put it on rock band
    and i for one would like to see a rock band (besides the beatles one) that has a completely different song list than guitar hero (any of them)

    world of warcraft has taken another victim -_-

    there are only so many decent songs out there that are good for a game like guitar hero/rock band, that they are able get a hold of. be grateful for the variety of songs that are out there.

    Dude, why do you hate Rock Band?
    I mean, just cuz you have GH doesnt mean you cant like Rock Band, lol

    Back to Topic, There aren't really many differences between the two. Sure, there's some but it's pretty much just DLC and peripherals

    First of all rockband is just a cheap remake of guitar hero and guitar hero will always be more popular since it was the first of its kind.

    GH is great but Rock Band totally raised the bar. THen GH copied :(

    you are so wrong. im not saying guitar hero is better (because its not because its the same thing as rock band) you are wrong because guitar hero came up with the idea of drums and mic and bass before rock band. it was activisions idea to do drums bass and mic as part of the guitar hero III project but they didn't get it out in time so mtv left activision and red octane to come out with the drums bass and mic first. so mtv couldn't wait to get the drums and bass and mic out so they ran with the idea. in conclusion rock band copied guitar hero. i read an article about it but i can't remember where
