okay since my original didn't transfer over to the new one here is MY new one

ps3

xbox 360

okay so i am planning on going with the 360 but if you guys have any more reason for me to get a ps3 then i may keep the 360 for a year or 2 or until i (hopefully not but posibly) the red rings of death.

so which should i buy...

now im starting to rethink my original thought. im not sure if the 360 was the way to go. if i can i would rather not trade in my 360 depending on how much a ps2 is worth does anyone know how much its worth. cause im planning on saving my whole summers allowence for the rock band beatles special edition bundle. but i also want to know what good downloadable games for the ps3. so could anyone give a list of good downloadable games for the ps3 besides flo and ratchet and clank.

dont forget mirror's edge for PS3, and Uncharted is very fun, and I found Iron Man for PS3, and its great too.

i got a 360 last sunday and ive been having SOOOOO much fun with it and half of the fun isnt eve the game...like the voice chat with friends, the downloading free game demos, making ur character (they copied miis i know), and all that good stuff so my vote is for the 360

btw i got a pro less chance of RROD and i just put a small fan next to it when i play to not get the red rings (i heard the fan works and i REALLY dont want the RROD)

I would say the "Pro" package. It's got a decent amount of memory, with the most stuff, and for a price that while still burning a hole in you wallet (like all consoles) it is less of a hole.

I don't like the Arcade cause it comes with less stuff and less memory and less everything, while I think the "Elite" just costs too much for the alternative, which is the "pro" since it just has more memory and comes with a HDMI cable.

i say pro to because i have it and i played the elite it just comes with these feature black case an mote, big memory i have the pro and still have lots of memory , and hdmi its really is not that great.

but then again are you familar with the xbox's and if so are you called a extreme gamer

Pro i mean the only reason I see buying the arcade is that its the cheapest console right now but is lacking in memory

i got a pro and i think its the best deal of them all
the only difference between pro and elite is everything is black and elite has hdmi cable and more memory...and thats the ONLY difference and the elite is 100 more dollars so i (and almost everybody here) say get the pro

i didn't say i wasn't going to get a ps3. my parents won't let me get both since the 360 has more games that i would like i went for that. but if i get bored after a year or 2 i will get a ps3

heres my predictions

wii will last till 2011 then dies

360 lasts till late 2010 and dies

ps3 gets a good comeback at 2010 and lives a good life till microsoft and nitnendo build soemthing better

i just got a 360 but haven't done anything yet because i just got it and i didn't get a wireless router and i didn't see any games i wanted at gamestop

I got $90.
Anyway I don't have a Xbox 360 but from what I have heard, people say it's great.

I am probably going to get it when the Game of The Year bundle comes out.
If anybody doesn't know what that is, it's a package bringing the Xbox 360 elite (yes i said elite) with Halo 3 (YAY) and Fable 2.

Yeh my bad but when I told them I wanted another game console they said I already had a wii and don't need another but she said she will think about it.
