Yes, Zelda, Mario, and Samus have had their big games for Nintendo's newest console, but that doesn't mean we don't have anything to look forward to!

It probably wont come out this year, but I want Fable 2 to come out on pc as i don't have an xbox 360 only a normal xbox.

I know that resident evil 5 is gonna only b 4 ps3 & 360 but im really hoping they make a later wii version, cause re4 was like the most awesome game on wii for a short amount of time

also, who has thought of smash bros for ds? I mean if they could pull of controls on a wiimote, they could definitely do it with the DS. I thought of that the day I got the first DS, Christmas 2006 and still would love one. Even a simple port of the first for 64. heck, any n64 prts would be sick. The GBA did it with NES games, and the DS has the graphical capabilities to do Star Fox 64, Smash Bros, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Kirby 64, anything! I would love that

I heard rumours of GH3 for DS, but I don't know how that would work out.
Duksandfish, it is an animated .gif. I'm not sure how to make them in any program other than Flash, tho. I'm pretty sure you won't be able to make one in photoshop... You could try taking the sequence of pictures you want to be animated and importing them into a program like Movie Maker or iMovie then exporting them as a movie and finding a .wmv, .mov, or .asf or something like that to .gif converter online. Hope that helps.
Guitar Hero: On Tour has been confirmed for Nintendo DS, along with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, and another untitled guitar hero spin offy game. The Guitar Hero 4 in the 4th quarter of 08. Plenty of five button shredding for the rocker in all of us this year, at home and...on the bus? No one knows how the DS version would work, but its pretty much assured that you will look like a total tool. Hopefully the game will be worth it!

About GH3 on ds I think it would be amazing playing guitar on the touch screen, but the frets wuold be a bit weird withe the buttons not in a straight line
But the guys at Activision have released that it will be a separate peripheral thingy and not only touch screen :/

On the topic of ds smash,
I have always hoped that that would be a possibility, but listen to this.
Last year i even sent an email to nintendo. I knew that the ds would not be able to take something big, and i knew that the ds might ruin smash if they tried to make a mini smash bros. However, i had an idea. The conversion of mario 64 to mario 64 for ds worked flawlessly. Not only did it offer all of the original gameplay, but a lot of bonus like extra characters and mini games. What if there was a smash bros classic for ds? What if they could translate smash 64 to smash ds? I sent this question to nintendo, but they replied "We have no plans for such a game, however you never know what the future may hold.." Short answer no, its not gona happen. It would be cool though....
Smash Bros DS, DK 64 DS, and Ocarina of Time DS would all be amazing. Also, there could be some very interesting WiiWare possibilities.
