Picture --> Nvidia videocard outputs

I'd like to connect the Wii to the Nvidia Geforce 9600GTo videocard on my computer (via S-video?), and the Wii to the Line-In on the Creative X-Fi Soundcard.

The Wii' images looks really crap via SCART-connection on my 15yrs old TV, not to mention pathetic sound.
Some ppl on other forums suggested a Video-to-VGA box which from my Amiga-days. However its a huge expense.

Have any1 managed connecting the Wii to their PC displaying through the videocard?

I solved this for only 35 EUR;
* Bought a good TV-card for my peecee
* Connected the Wii's to the composite Video-IN on the video card.
* Using an RCA converter (cost 1.25 EUR) connected Wii audio to TV-card.

It worx like a charm, though the image quality stinx, not much better quality than on my ole' 1997-model television.

All-in-all a satisfying solution.

Here's some Blazing Angels gameplay, recorded from the TV-card;

Glad to hear you got this to work. I just want to warn others who might try this that it does not work well with a USB TV or Capture device. There is a tremendous amount of lag. We tried this on a Dell XPS M2010, a beast of a computer, with a Dell Branded USB TV/Capture device that shipped with the PC and a PS2. There was a tremendous amount of lag. So much that is was not playable.

This does not mean there is not a better USB device out there that will have little to no lag, but an internal card sounds like the way to go.

You could also look into a component 2 VGA cable then use couplers to join the wii comp cable and the comp2VGA cable. I've not tested this but I've read a few sucess stores online.
