    Best Video Game Soundtrack?

    Which single game (not series... don't be vague and say Legend of Zelda or Sonic, be more specific and say Windwaker and Sonic Adventure...those are both hypothetical lol) in your view has the best soundtrack? O..and also don't say brawl or melee or any game that includes multiple tracks from many different games...

    personally my favorite video game soundtrack has got to be from Okami...beautiful....
    my runner up would probably be Sonic Adventure 2, that game had some nice tracks, and the beatz on Knuckle's stages were ill (as long as you couldnt hear the guy rap lol...whoever rapped on those tracks sucked, or at least whoever wrote those lyrics)

    Well I like the awesome Speed Metal music for F-Zero X for N64.
    Original Zelda Music was good because it was catchy like Mario's
    But the F-Xero Music was awesome it was Bwannnnnnnnn BWonnn Be Be BEnnnnnnnnnnnEhhhhhhhhhhh. and was awesome.
    Ohh Lets not for get Guitar hero 2's soundtrack with Carry on My Wayward Son, Sweet Child of Mine, and Freebird.

    Well mine is sadly not a Nintendo video game, it is Kingdom Hearts, the only reason I have a PS2.

    Best Game sound track ever = Grandia for PS1/Sega saturn

    But the best one for a nintendo console has to be OOT and MM by miles.

    I don't know if the Guitar Heroes count, but if that were the case GH2 would be 2nd on my list. Tied at first are Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time. I know, its kinda generic to say Zelda music is the best, but I'm gonna go ahead and say it anyway. Midna's Lament get me every time...

    I guess if GH2 counts, then that is in. And I only own one Zelda game, but like alot of the soundtrack from Zelda games, so

    I would have to say "Bramble Blast" from SSBB Wii. It has a good tempo and beat to it! :)

    I would have to say Metroid games. They have the sickest most perfect music you could ever find in an FPS. SSBB really sort of sucked the life out of FPSs because the Metroid music they took wasn't the best stuff. Metroid Prime 3 is amazingly good with some synchronized tracks with the areas you were in and same with MPH. My runner up would be Shadow the Hedgehog and Halo. I have a thing for FPS music I guess, but Shadow had some sick music too.

    I got back out My Sims, (great game) and it had some catchy music, not necessarily something I would listen to much, but it was well-put together. They had lots of varieties.

    F-zero has always had great music but my favorite is Advance Wars Days of Ruin!! I love it, in fact I'm listening to it right now!! But all the Advance Wars games have good music!!

    Best of all time is a hard one, but staring at the game discs sitting close to me the soundtrack to Crimsons Skies: High Road to Revenge for the x box, has a great soundtrack that goes so well with the game.

    *Odd video game to music comment*
    Best song listened too while playing a game:
    U2's Mysteriosu Ways played over Jurasic Park for the sega genesis, I dont know what it was but i would put this song on repeat like 100 times every time i played this game, Oddly i came across a friend a number of years later that claims to have done the same thing *boggled*

    My top three (not including Smash Bros. or GH/RB) are:
    1. Ocarina of Time
    2. Wind Waker.
    3. Twilight Princess.

    My favorite so far that I just listened to this morning is the Sam & Max (season 1) for the PC if that counts. (http://www.telltalegames.com/ if you haven't heard of it) It is very cool and jazzy and fits the game very well.

    I've always liked Zelda tracks too (OOT), the Gerudo Valley song in particular. It reminds me of songs from the Gypsy Kings (a band from spain).

    1. super mario galaxy
    2. metroid prime 3 corruption
    3. guitar hero aerosmith
    4. guitar hero III legends of rock
    5. legend of zelda twilight princess
    6. kingdom hearts 2

    i put aerosmith ahead of legends of rock because legends of rock had some songs that weren't good
    cugh bulls on perade cuagh

    world of warcraft has taken another victim -_-
