    I just tried uploading a gif pic for my avatar, but it only shows the first frame of the pic, would there be any way to get around this so that it shows all the animation.

    Also, Arvin im going to london to see some relatives and wont be back 'till sunday so if you need to comtact me about my vids then i probably wont get the message until sunday

    Animated gif avatar's aren't supported because our system dynamically resizes the images to conform with our size restrictions. So because of that it generates a new image on the fly and doesn't understand animated gifs

    I would be cool if you could have animated avatars though. Although, I would have no idea how to make one . . .

    How about .swf files, i have an older version of flash so i can make videos and minigames, so if there was .swf availability, my avatar would be better.

    I feel stupid asking this, but is an avatar some sort of flash file extension name or is everyone talking about that show on nickelodeon?

    What's the deal with the lack of Super Smash 64 on the wii shop channel. No, instead we get stuff like SnowBoard 180!

    lol An avatar is the image you see next to your name, and a .gif file is sort of like making your avatar a slideshow/flash type of thing, its a file that you upload to represent you, yours is a black Nintendo Wii™
