I love the Beatles, but I think their music will be too easy to play in a Rockband game. No insane guitar riffs, hardly any solo's and its usually just chords throughout the song. If you can proove me wrong on this (I havn't done any research on the game) I will consider buying as I do enjoy their music. but if not, I will buy Guitar Hero 5 when the price goes down.

Well just play the demo of the beatles. and come on its the beatles who cares if its going to be hard or not when it comes to the beatles it doesn't matter plus the game is going to include twist and shout which the guitar for it is basically the same as la bamba and la bamba was a fairly hard song the first time through it. and I will be getting Guitar her 5 most likely for christmas or at the end of september because I have no money

I really like the Beatles, but if I get any more music games, it will be guitar hero 5, because of the huge song list, and because i like guitar hero better than rock band. its just my opinion, and if i actually had a lot of money, i would get both.

Yeah the songs that come with the game itself is not that much. They rather just make more money putting like all the other songs on DLC so you have to buy it later which makes me pist. So yeah I know its the Beatles but its a ripoff to tell you the truth.

Actually its not ripoff. Again like metallica in addition to the 40+ songs you get you get videos and pictures and a lot of other fan related stuff. and I like guitar hero better to but I like the beatles more and to have a game about them is to to awesome.

each game is a nail in their coffin, let all the songs be a download so you can pick your songs and save money and disc switching

I'm not quite sure what you said but I think having all the songs as download is stupid because there are to many beatles songs that I would buy and I would most likely at $2 a song spend 90 bucks just on songs (45 songs that are in the game) and thats pointless the reason why they make games is so you don't have to pay 90 bucks. and plus think of all the extras there putting into the game (the beatles the places they performed etc. etc.) so really it diserves its own game

Uhh I go with neder's idea of making it a disc so you don't spend 90 bucks but also why make so many GH and RB games?

well if they lower the price to 99 cents a song ( like itunes) since they don't have to do advertising and marketing and stuff they save money

I get that but the point of making a game is to have new venues and the beatles themselves/the beatles instruments and pics and other fan stuff as i keep saying and plus they needed a game to include the 3 singers at one time and no drum fills or distorted sound when the note is whammy'd and plus they probably wouldn't sell as many copies of the song because they wouldn't be able to advertise it as good. steve the reason they do this is marketing. and plus one more thing if you have to buy the microsoft or nintendo points cards MTV doesn't make as much money as if they made a disc.

Im excited for it but I am literally broke right now so its safe to say I wont be buying a new games for a while.

Download the demo from XBLMP if you have a 360 and if you don't go to a friends house and play it but it looks truely amazing. Get it when you do have some money

How old is your uncle? Cause if you're how old most unles are then why would you buy it (i know for the beatles but its a video game none the less and more buttons to memorize)

40 something, he's big into guitar hero and he loves the beatles, so it's a perfect match

I actually like Steve's idea of just buying each song that you want, but I think then they could also make special ones like metallica and the beatles. but for the guitar heros that have a ton of various bands, it would be cool to choose which ones i wanted. idk, there are good and bad things about it.

Still its all marketing the way activision and mtv puts the games together and for the third time you're getting extra stuff as well (videos, pictures etc. etc.) so its worth it.

Anyway, I just watched some Beatles RB videos, and I'm really thinking about getting this above GH5, not sure yet though. It really is unlike any other music game.

sorry This is the game I have ever been the most excited for so I wanted to count down. heres my review I don't have much time so a detailed review may go up later this week.

This game is about the beatles so it automaticly in my book gets a great review. The history part of it was pretty good I would have liked more but what they put in was good. since i wasn't there i can't tell you how liverpool looked and the ed sulliven show and shea stadium but i can tell you that they looked like something the beatles would have performed at. the screaming girls were the same every different place except for the rooftop of apple corps. the screaming girls were a nice touch they added sort of a realism to how the beatles actually performed. the beatles themselves don't look like the beatles they look sort of like the beatles the hair was way off. the graphics. the graphics are the best i have ever seen for a rock band game. the beatles and the stages and the screaming girls all looked very realistic. the note highway was really cool harmonix went with a cartoony style on the highway which looks better than in previous games. now remember i have this for the 360 not the wii so the graphics are going to be better, that being said the note highway on the wii looks pretty good but the beatles and the stages and the screaming girls all look like crap the graphics are just not good on the wii. onto gameplay. ok we all know its the beatles so the gameplay isn't going to be that hard MOST OF THE TIME, however there are those songs that will trip you up lik get back or helter skelter. i haven't tried the 3 part vocals but i will this weekend (or atleast 2 part). if you watch IGN's review they note that the songs aren't going to be as hard but you know there are about 5-8 songs that are pretty hard. the story. as i said before the history isn't to much but i would have liked more. fortunately this time around you have to play each song only once and never play it again. whats really cool though is that they don't go by difficulty of song this time around they go by the career order in which it was recorded or performed. after budakan the you go into the recording studio where there are dream scapes which are pretty cool but some don't really have a dreamscape its just 4 guys in the studio making music. the dreamscapes. they are pretty cool some of them are the freakiest thing you will ever see in your intire life like lucy in the sky with diamonds and i am the walrus qoute IGN "is the tripiest dream scape." not an exact qoute but basically. i am the walrus is intensely weird you will be laughing so hard you won't be able to sing or hardly play your instrument it is the weirdest thing you will ever see in a video game harmonix must have been high or something when they did this dreamscape. there are some other dreamscapes that work perfactly like yellow submarine and octupuses garden take place in basically the same dreamscape - the submarine or octupus. and there are some like sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band which is pretty cool and weird at the same time. but the weird thing is after sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band on the same highway is a little help from my friends which is basically harmonix giving you and extra song but its a full length 3 minute song so i mean its pretty cool. onto the songs themselves. only about half of these are good. the other half are ok. i honestly think that micheal jackson only gave a few of the good ones to harmonix on purpose so he could release the downloadable good songs and make more money to pay off his 400 million dollars in debt. some of the songs are to long to enjoy playing like i want you (shes so heavy). and this has nothing to do with the game but with me, i can hardly tell when they switch lead singers like there is a tiny difference between paul and john and i never thought that george ever sang lead but it really tripped me up when i saw his lips singing. and another thing with me, these sound like the master recordings which i don't like but when i played the first few songs i didn't really look at the highway i listened to the song and i tripped me up when george would play but there were no notes on my highway. replay value. the replay value is great especially if they release the entire 14 catalog albums other than that basically the replay value is to get the pictures and the videos that can be unlocked.
