Character graphics are bad but Background graphics are 5x better

If you want to get good then use Funky Kong or Dry bowser or rosalina in the bowser bike or Torpedo bike, seriosly, watch what they do in the time trial world records, tats how i got a 7500 rating online.

The motorcycles just SEEM slow. They are not really slow. How do I powerslide? I haven't figured that out yet. They are easy to change, but they are practically hidden in the corner, not obvious, like in MKDD (double dash). I saw in a book that miis can race too, later, I think. I only use 1 profile, but I really prefer a profile for my friends to use, like in Guitar Hero, where there are lots of profiles. EDIT: Graphics are great in the background, AND the levels are not bad. SSBB can quit during a wi-fi match, but that is the only Wii Wi-Fi game I have. I only used the wheel once, and I will not use it again. (I use the GC controller, even though the controls are different from Double Dash.) I have to say, the wheel is better on MKWii than it is on, say, Need For Speed: Carbon on the Wii. Yeah, I need to unlock Funky Kong, cause he is cool.ish.

hold the left trigger on the gc controller to power slide. By the way has anyone tried a tournament yet? I want to know what they are like but i really only have time to squeeze in playing every now and then at random intervals, and cant do that kind of commitment.
by the way, the wii wheel is awesome, but not for competitive play.

I actually feel the wheel is quite easy to use and control. It did take a few time trials to get the hang of drifting, but I really do enjoy the wheel. For those that have a hard time with it, try a time trial to get used to it.

bleu401 - The reason you are not allowed to quit during a wifi race is that there are points on the line. It is not fair to others who lose points when they are not in the top half. In my book it is cheating to quit a race to prevent the loss of points.

however scott, i have found a glitch with the online, if you switch off your wii when you are in a wifi race, youget the amount of points you would get for finishing in that place, som switching off when you are in first place gets you points. The same thing applies for switching off your router.

I think that you should lose like 100 pts for quitting in a race, and a cpu takes your place, like in Brawl, so everyone else gets to finish.

Yep, I noticed that. I forgot that sometimes I start a 12 player Wi-Fi race, and it ends up with only 10. Also, I want to do a tournament, so I opt. in to the mail messages so they will send me a message when there is a tournament.

Yeh, competitions should start soon.....
