Here is the list of improvements that I sent to Nintendo. After talking to Nintendo on the phone, they recommended the best play for feedback is the Nintendo website. I submitted the information below to
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/webform.jsp

Dear Nintendo,
Thank you for making great products. I have some ideas on how to improve the Wii.
Here is the list of feedback items for the Nintendo Wii as of March 21st, 2008:

1. Add a gameboy download feature to the Virtual Console channel.
This would start out with a small catalog: original and gameboy color games no longer being made. This is NOT the same as a DS download station

2. Create separate "channels" for each genre of Virtual Console title.
When entering the VC shop channel, I can view only NES or SNES games, for example. Please create a "folder" like analogy for genres on the Wii main page (instead of displaying ALL of my VC games, allow me to sort them).

3. When sending Mii's allow me to send multiple Miis to multiple people at the same time.
Please add multithreading and multitasking to your Mii channel.

4. When receiving several Miis, please display a *single* message.
Currently, a new messsage is generated for each new Mii I recieve. Please consolidate this into a single message. For example "Scott send you 10 Miis!"

5. Allow the ability to edit Miis I did not create. (Ask permission from the sender for security purposes--but dont require permission every time). Please disassociate the Wii MAC address from each Mii when accomplishing this. Here is a practical reason: my brother made a Mii of me on his Wii, and sent it to my Wii. I want to edit it, and I cannot.

6. Add a preference to notify me via Wii mail when I receive a new Mii (instead of having to look into the Mii channel to find out IF I received a Mii)

7. Add a preference to keep the Wii light on all the time. This is just pure fun. See http://wiiliketopodcast.com/wiiteachyou/getting_blue_led_illuminated

8. Allow users to expand storage (use SD cards for VC playback, or add USB external drive support (please allow HFS+. FAT32 and NTFS support). PLEASE! If I can play mp3s from an SD in Endless Ocean, I ought to be able to read VC games from the SD card.

9. Add the ability to toggle the resolution settings for VC games within the UI. Make the content here: http://www.nintendowiifanboy.com/2007/10/11/fix-revealed-for-resolution-issue-on-neogeo-games/ viewable to the user via a button push.

10. Develop games for the iPhone. Seriously. Also, please work with Apple to add official Wiimote driver support.

You forgot the most important thing, voice chat support, either in games or in a separate channel

Good recommendations. I like how you gave them a link to the Wii Like to Podcast page!

Yes, I also agree with Duksandfish, the best update the wii could do is add voice chat.

but other than that, good recomendations!

George Orwell once said,
"In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act."

We ask for truth all the time, but when that truth threatens to tear apart the fundamental beliefs of your world, can you still accept it?

Thanks for the feedback guys.
If you want to suggest anything to Nintendo, you can use the link I provided in the topic notes.
