I must admit I do not know how to "Snake" (I can drift just fine) so I am a little bitter when playing online and there are a few players way out in the lead. I for one wish Nintendo would remove this from the game. I played the DS game last night and there was a player with a half lap lead.

For those who are drifters please share your technique. I guess if I cannot beat them I must join them.

This is figure of 8 circuit tactics.

Turbo start, then if you are on left of the track, after about a second drift to the left, and vice versa.

Thene do a mini tubo, and a soon as you have released r, press right, and the press are again, and do a mini turbo.now you are at the corner, repeatedly do mini turbos to the left, pressing right for about 0.1 of a second after each one before mini turboing to the left again.

When you have got to the straight, make sure you are on the left side of the track, then drift to the right, and do a mini turbo, then one to the left, until you are at the corner. When you rech the corner, do the same tactics as the first one, but the other way round.

Do this for the rest of the race

There are only 2 karts you can snake well in, these are yoshis egg, and dry bones dry bomber. I myself use the yoshi egg.

All mini turbos should be as fast as humanly possible.

I DO NOT reccomend practising this in 150cc as it is much harder, and you play 100 cc online, just do multiplayer or vs on 100cc

hope that helped

Snaking is fair because it is just drifting half-straight, mini-turbo, then drift the other way over and over again. You should see a video on youtube or something to learn how.

I think my big problem is I am too lazy to learn and execute the technique. It also sounds like it is not as easy to do with the wheel.

Oh, you can't snake, really, with MKWii, cause you have to wait for the flame to turn automatically, when on DS, you can control when to turbo.
