I think Gyrostarr is the best Wiiware game so far but I haven't played Final Fantasy or Lostwinds. I would get Lostwinds or Gyrostarr.

I can't say much for LostWind, but it looks so much like KirbyCC, that the experience would be boring since it's been done before.

I purchased the FF game and I finished it on normal. I've also player FF Crystal Chronicles for the GC. It seems like a sequel to Crystal Chronicles in a way similar to Wind Waker was to Ocarina of Time. There were a lot of references to the game where I could sit there and say "hey, I remember that from CC". The graphics are also similar, but the gameplay style is very unique.

Minor spoilers, not like it's gonna change the experience for the game, but it's sort of like how the game starts out.

You start out as a 10 year old king who has arrived in a new kingdom after his old kingdom was destroyed. Your goal is to rebuild your kingdom (this is where the spoilers kick in) with the ability to turn memories into reality.

It's very similar to CC only you have to rebuild your kingdom. It's nothing like other FF games, it's a seperate style with similar stories. The game allows you to do many things to keep your kingdom together, and the game gave me about 20 good hours of gameplay on a single mode. I finished the game with an A rank on normal. I intend to play it through again on hard. Basically, you send adventurers to search dungeons around your kingdom to fulfill quests given by the king while you stay back in the kingdom to deal with your people and rebuilding the new kingdom.

I found it very fun and interesting and well worth the 15$. Only problem I had was that I ran out of Wii points because of the downloadable content. There was about 20$ worth of DLC that I wanted to buy but I only had 5. Pretty much, when you download most - all of the DLC, the game becomes a full game (like one you would buy off the store).

In conclusion, if you buy this game, it's an adventure/RPG and well worth the money, but you don't need to buy (or rent or know anything about FFCC)Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles to know what's going on. The game sort of throws you in the middle of the story and fills you in on what happened before as things progress. It's an interesting game.

Fortunately, I just finished the game, so I can write a review for it for the site (when I get around to it).

Cheers :)
