Now I must admit I am extremely excited for this game to come out. But with all the hype about it everywhere, I start to think that we are getting our hopes up a little too high. I dont know about you, but when my hopes are as high as they are now, I usually find myself dissapointed with the finished product. Discuss!

Yeah that happened to me with Red steel ! This hype is very much like red Steel.
I hope that The Conduit will not be like Red Steel.
There are enough fps's with good controls on the Wii to act as an example of proper mechanics.
But Red Steel was very overhyped and Conduit is looking like it's in a similar situation. What do you guys think?

alas, i too overexpect (look dat up in dictonary) games, ssbb, metriod, galaxy, zelda, mk, wiifit 8takes a deep breath* splinter cell, godfather, sonic and secret rings, boom blox.. and i forgot after that rofl, anyway, im pretending this game is crap, that way it will seem EPIC when it comes out..on a side note im also doing that to sonic:unleased..it's tough cause it looks soo cool!

one year later!
Well...... ok... it doesn't live to the hype. But just barely! I think if they made the story mode a lot longer it would've been near perfect.

i also like how the higher level you go in COD the better weapons, so a new person and a top ranked player don;t have the same weapons

Funny how when The Conduit was released that all the hype just faded. Even the Conduit Forums died instantly (and no, I don't go there). Well the good thing is that the Conduit paved the way for third-party developers thanks to the quantum 3 engine. If you have an Xbox 360 or a PS3 with a wii. You will think the Conduit is a piece of s!^* compared to other titles like Resistance and all that. I think development time was not worth it for the conduit though.

the game is good but what will kill it is no DLC as all games (even worse games) will catch up and pass it with it's DLC

Yeah that happened with me and Brawl
I thought playing online would be the bomb but was dissapointed with Gameplay Time and the horrible Lag
