GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR ALL THE WAY i do admit rock band was a good idea with more stuff but seriously (doh i did it again) Rock rev. is just dum rock band was an improvement over guitar hero (keywor "was") but rock rev. is just the same old thing in a different box and now that guitar hero's getting drums there on reason to get this they also started on rock rev. before it was known that GHWT would have drums in conclusion i think rock rev. is gona tank and Rock band and Guitar Hero will make it till there next installment

And I'm gonna have to go with the majority and say World Tour. I was very dissapointed with GH3, wasn't anything compared to 2, but world tour's looking to bring back the franchise. And from a Wii owner standpoint, Harmonix didn't seem to give a flying guitar string about their first rock band point and that's something that's hard to look past for me. Plus I already have a GH3 controller, so there.

IGN also said that the Wii version of World Tour was better than the other versions of the game. I like Rock Band but I didn't buy the first Rock Band for Wii so I would have to get all of the instruments. It looks like World Tour will be the better deal.

I'm getting GHWT.

anyway, im gonna get both RB2 and GH:WT, because i already have RB1 and GH3, so im just gonna get the game only versions. and since they said that every instrument for the 360 versions of RB, RB2, GHI, GHII, GHIII, and GH:WT will be compatible with each other, same with the PS3, hopefully the Wii version will do the same, otherwise i need to buy a GH:WT drumset.

what's the point unless you filthy stinking rich. rock band 2 will not be as good because guitar hero world tour will have a singing career a drum career a guitar career a bass career and a band career plus the music studio and gh tunes and guitar hero world tour will have more songs out of the box and i don't if guitar hero will use the wii points for the wii for downloadable content but i hope so because if they didn't i probably wouldn't be able to buy extra songs (someone please tell me if the wii version will use the points)

you know they did change up the guitar a little bit for GHWT? Just wondering if anyone noticed that cause almost everyone said they would use their GH3 ones. I dont know if it really matters or if there's any important difference, though.

yeah im just wondering if they're gonna use the touch pad for in the song or just at the end like the solo keys in rock band.

ya a video on gametrailers said that you can tap the touch pad on sustained notes or watever and go back and forth on it to "catch" them

If I get anything its RB2, but for the PS3. Doing so because I can export all the old RB songs to RB2 for 5 bucks by borrowing my friend's disk. Good thing is I've never played the original RB songs before :)

You are correct neder i would also like 2 point out the fact that the rock band 2 drum kit does not come with cymbals and you have to buy later on for 30 dollars a peice also i just found new info strongly leaning towards wii pay and play is for dlc purposes only so please take this into consideration before buying rock band 2 for wii over ghwt
