So any one picked this one up yet? I'm hoping to pick it up this week sometime, maybe i can find it Friday on sale some where =). so far it has the #1 game rating of all time on Gamerankings.com at 97.9% . Take that halo 3, which is not even in the top 10 =). Actually Nintendo holds the top 4 spots. any way id love to hear some first hand impressions.

I dont have one yet, but I plan to ask for one this chrismas if they arent selling out like money on the shelves of the game store. I wanted one since it came out because I played the N64 mario adventure and Oot (Orcarina of Time) and I liked them. so I am looking forward to get the game.
i think galaxy will be my halo 3 trade in, even with new maps i just dont want it anymore, lol might pick it up tom *grin*, if i can find it.

Finally picked this one up last week. Played through about half and man is it a great game. controls are easy to pick up, the level design is great and doesn't feel at all recycled as you progress through the game. all in all a solid title and a must have for any mario fan. only thing i really hate is how you dont keep your extra guys, every time you start the game you have 4 or 5. regardless of how many you had the last time you saved and shutoff the game. not that its hard to get extra guys dont get me wrong just something thats odd that bothers me. but thats one very minor flaw in a pretty flawless game.

How can it be flawless if it has a flaw? They may do it on porpose to make the player search for them. It is like in the Super Mario 64 game. Your coins dissapear reguardless and when you jump into a picture you start at 0 coins. That sounds logical. Dont you think?

Yhea I wish that too. I just got a few days ago and I like it a bunch. I think the graphics seem amazing.
if i did, i would have about 500 lives stocked now so i guess they had to do that to keep it real and not cheap

there are three 1ups hidden in the comet observatory: in the crate next to the garage, at the back around the kitchen and floating at the bottom where you jump off the ledge next to the library and go to it on the moving platforms and you have to run
