The wii is worth getting. The games I would reccomend is Wii play (it teaches you how to use the wii remote, Legend of Zelda: twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3. I dont know you might like those games, but I do.

There are some other good games too, but he named the main ones, Mario strikers Charged is a good game due to its multiplayer and online capabilities and Super Mario Galaxy is a great game for single player. And When Super Smash Bros. Brawl is released (February 10th) it will have both single player and multiplayer components as well as a wide variety of things to do as well as online play. And if you get wiiplay get it with the free controller.

how is the wii online?

It works great with Guitar Hero III. We've been battling people online with no issues.

Now we can both play together. Smash Brothers will have a mode that will let you play with completely anonymous people but you wont see there name only, player A/B etc, and you wont be able to send them any sort of friend invite. There was rumors of Xfire working on a program for the wii, but i havnt heard anything from that in a long while. Nintendo says friend codes are here to stay but i still hold hopes that they will see the light. As i said before i dont have a wireless router and have not actually played on line with my wii, but from my understanding this is how it works.

Yes that is how it works, though im not sure that if someone is your system friend, not just your game friend, will they be your friend for every online game? I think you are but i havent got a chance to test it, although i dont think it does work considering i have wii friends who have the save online game and we are system friends but i dont have their friend code. Maybe nintendo should at least make that possible because it still follows their 'lets not have anybody play a nintendo game with someone they dont know rule or co-respond with them' considering you are already friends with them.

how bad does the wii console heat up?

The wii uses the least amount of power out of all 3 consoles by more then half, heat is not an issue. keep it well ventelated and you will be fine.

is zelda as addictive as oblivion?

its not as long and as....wide-set as oblivion but you will find lots of side quests and other things to do in between the regular story line so it is fun, but its a different animal from oblivion.

is the wii's warranty like the 360?

You can buy an extended warranty for the wii, but unlike the 360, the wii doesnt break down as much. my friend has 360 and his busts all the time, while ive had my wii for about 8 months and the worst that has happened is a damaged sensor bar cord (stupid cat) which is nice so if your thinking of spending money on a warranty, dont bother.

You can find them on e-bay. That is where I bought mine. Beware the prices are higher there. There was one that I saw when I was looking for my wii was selling for $10,000,000. I did not get this one. I bought mine for about $344. This included shipping. I thought it was well worth the money.

i got mine at eb games on the 10th of april.
it was a birthday gift so i didnt get it til a few days later.

It is fun to play video games with un realistic guns. that is what makes it more exciting. I have played Halo 3,Mass effect and a few other games that are like that and they are exciting.
