So as you may or may not have noticed I have indeed returned home and have spent the weekend trying to recover from what was basically two weeks of very little sleep.
However in the hours where I have been awake I have been toiling over the website and have fixed, adjusted, and added a great many things. Here's the list!
- Fixed *most* of the theme transparency issues in IE6
- Podcast, Reviews and Wii teach you listing problem fixed
- Forum now shows all user avatars and function icons (edit, etc)
- Blog post on the sidebar now single posting with teaser
- Wii teach you link now in the main links replacing blog
- User Map now up! Click on the map at the bottom section of the screen.
- Users can now add additional info to their profiles including location, wii system number and games you own.
- New user list view to see all users and their information and standardized avatar height
- Friend Code Games section where users can add their friend codes to online capable games. See listings of all users for a particular game or see a particular users friend codes in their profile. Add friend codes by using the "Create Content" section of the user menu.
- Breadcrumbs in the forum for easier backtracking
- Changed forum from threaded list to flat list for easier reading of messages
- Improved back end structure should help website performance
I hope Ben and I can get together soon to put together a new episode. I'll be going over how to use some of the new features in the next episode as well. But in the meantime if you want to play around with them by all means be my guest. It'll help me iron out any new kinks that may come up.
