I just got brand new wiimote, and problem is I can't turn off my wii console with wii-remote.
Appreciate the help.
by the way , can wii can be connected to projector to play games ?

I used the sync buttons as manual instructed, and it appears wiimote function correctly in every areas exceptnot able to turn off wii console.
Wiimote can turn on the wii console, though.

Is it just the new Wiimote that's the problem or does your whole system not turn off? Sometimes you have to hold the button and it takes a few seconds for the system to turn off. If that's not it, I suggest you return it.

does anyone else ever get a problem with synching the Wiimotes??
on GH3 in particular, ill have to synch both wii motes, put them in the guitars, then by the time the opening videos (all 27 of them) come on, the blue light on the wiimotes has gone off. so then ill take em out, synch em with 1 and 2, and put em back in. if the gods smile upon me, then maybe, just maybe, ill be able to play my game. and yes, the batteries are not dead. just a nuisance, does anyone else have that problem?

probly is a faulty wiimote, also, it;s not a mile walk to turn it off manually lol
