First, you can buy some PS1 games from the store, but no PS2 yet.
Second, I bought a bunch of PSN games when there was a sale during the summer, so here are a few:
-Fat Princess (fun, but kind of repetitive. It had some problems at launch, but they quickly patched it up.)
-Pixeljunk Eden (kinda boring, but it's interesting. I got it for $5, but it is usually $10. I wouldn't pay 10 for it)
-Battlefield 1943 (hands down the best $15 bucks I've ever spent on the PS3. It is a mini-easy-very addictive-fun FPS that is most definately worth the $15 bucks, unless you prefer more in-depth stuff like modern warfare etc.)
-Savage Moon (tower defense game that is addicting. I got it for $5, and it was worth it)
-Crash Commando (it looked cool, and I got it for $5, but it got boring fast, and it was very repetitive. I wouldn't get it if I was you.)
-Rag Doll Kung Fu (I got this for free, because Sprint was paying for everyone to get it for free for a week. It is fun, and there are a lot of things to unlock. The physics are fantastic, and the challenges are fun. There are only 10 levels, though, so it doesn't feel like a complete game. Also, there is no online. I like it, but I wouldn't pay for it.)
I was originally going to buy Warhawk, but after getting the demo of battlefield 1943, I decided it was much better, and I bought that.

And finally, the games...
-Burnout Paradise (THE BEST racing game ever. I got it for 19 bucks, and I would gladly pay all 60. It is the best, no comparisons.)
-Little Big Planet (This game is awesome, and virtually endless. I've definately had the most fun on this game over all my others. It's great)
-Motorstorm Pacific Rift (this game is fun for a while, but after I got Burnout, I stopped playing it. It's the game I play if I want to do off-road racing)
-Batman: Arkham Asylum (this game I just got, and it's the best game ever! It has a great story, great action, puzzles, detective work, and it's just awesome. You need to get it, whether for the 360 or PS3, although the ps3 version has free levels exclusive to it)
-Mirror's Edge (this game was great, and the story was pretty good. It was short, and after the story, I didn't come back to it. It is really good, though)
-Uncharted (this game is really really cool. It was game of the year a while back, and it's now on the greatest hits {only $30 bucks} it has a kick butt story line, and they are even making a movie based on it. You definately need to get this)

Also, I recomend getting demos of games. I have over 30 demos, and they have helped me in buying or not buying some games.
Playstation home at first was pretty dumb, but they are adding a LOT of games, challenges, etc. to it, and there are a lot of free things, like clothes, costumes, furniture, stuff, etc. It's getting better and better over time.
I have a huge wishlist of games that I want to buy too. There are a ton of great games, and a lot of them are PS3 exclusive.
Holy crap, sorry about that super long post, I didn't even notice till i was done.

I say warhawk is the best even though its a little pricey

Warhawk is the most expensive game on the PSN service but it's also the best; an explosive online combat experience for up to 32 players that spans both the ground and the skies. While it has a slightly steep learning curve for newbies – lacking both tutorials and bots – it won't take long to get into the swing of the game.

In addition to Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch (which can be played as dogfight-only, or utilising both air and ground combat), and Capture the Flag, the game also features the Zones mode, which is an extension of the ability to capture checkpoints and bases in the other modes (which give you more advanced spawn points, as well as new offensive capabilities and vehicles). In Zones, you're also capturing bases, and the more players you have in areas that you control, the more the area grows and the more points your team gets. Linking areas under your team's control also gives you a number of bonuses.

It's a good mix of modes, but the real star of the show is the seamless mix of ground-based combat and aerial – it's so satisfying how well the game scales from intense third person shootouts to soaring above the world duking it out with other warhawks or taking down AA emplacements. The controls are tight too – even the Sixaxis motion control, which can – thankfully – be turned off if you're so inclined. Of course, the other crucial part of the equation is balance, and Warhawk's seven aerial weapons, nine ground weapons, three vehicles and three turret types are all very well weighted and counter-balanced. In short, skill – not uber weapons or long range sniping – reigns supreme in Warhawk.

This is a particularly good time to get into Warhawk because the new Omega Dawn booster pack has just hit Sony servers with a new map and new vehicle (the KT-424 Combat Dropship). While some of you may prefer to get the game at retail for its box and headset, it's going to cost you a whole lot more than the digital version, which is a bargain at $49.95.

ok, what i do is download demos, and then decide if i want the game

i dissagree with mgs4 and warhawk, the only reason i have those is bcuz my bro got mgs4 and warhawk came with it

if you buy warhawk, it comes with a head set

get Call of Duty: World at War, beat story mode to get zombies, and buy map packs 2 and 3

you might also wanna get Grand theft auto 4
alot of people play that

A kinda fun free game is playstation home, for free, you get an apparment and you get to make an apparment, and a clan house
the there are fun games every where including racing and ecocrome :)

so, yeah, Friend request me,, im pizzalover101
